Vyas sources Coffee beans from the major coffee-producing states of Karnataka (South Western India) home to the first coffee plantations in India.
In India, the coffee is grown in 3 traditional southern states
- Karnataka
- Kerala
Then their other non –traditional states like

- Andhra Pradesh
- North-Eastern states
Both Arabica & Robusta Coffee beans are grown in Karnataka
Arabica carries the sweeter taste and has taste traits of chocolate & sugar.
They might have hints of the taste of fruits or berries.
Arabica coffee plantation requires more specific cultivation requirements like cool & sub-tropical climate. These beans are grown at an altitude ranging from 600m-2000m.
Robusta beans bear a stronger & more bitter taste and is used primarily in an Instant coffee mix, Espresso as well as a filler in certain blending.
These beans have Chlorogenic acid (CGA) content over Arabica beans by 25% -80%.
